CA Foundation

  • A candidate who took the class 12 exam is qualified for registration with the CA Foundation and may only take exams after passing the class 12 exam. Candidates who choose to pursue a career in accounting after completing their 12th grade must register with the ICAI Board of Studies (BoS) and complete a 4-month study period in order to be eligible to sit for the CA Foundation examinations following session.

CA Intermediate

  • Candidates must finish an 8-month study period after successfully enrolling in the CA Intermediate course. After that, a candidate must fill out the CA Intermediate test form and select the group for which they wish to sit. In CA Intermediate, there are two groups, each of which has four papers or subjects.

Articleship Training

  • Candidates who enroll in the Chartered Accountancy program must complete three years of practical training; otherwise, the program is not complete. After clearing one or both groups of the CA Intermediate exams, as applicable, a candidate may register for an articleship. Before taking the CA Final exams, candidates must complete the Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (AICITSS) during the last two years of their training.

CA Final

  • Candidates who have successfully completed both CA Intermediate groups are eligible to register for CA Final. The last stage of articleship training requires completion of both ICITSS and AICITSS. Those who have completed both are eligible to fill out the CA Final exam form and sit for the exams. There are 8 subjects in total at the Final level, divided into 2 groups with 4 papers in each group for CA Final.
